LIGL was founded to challenge the conservative legal industry. We all come from leading positions in the largest law firms in Norway and know what foundation we want to build on. But we also know what we do not want to take with us when building LIGL.

We want to create an efficient and unique alternative to other law firms in Norway. We do this by combining extensive legal expertise with innovative use of technology, a modern business model and a different working environment.

Together with the technology company JurX AS, we have developed the legal robot Ida®. This is our unique tool for streamlining and quality assuring our work. A limited version of Ida® is available to everyone on our website.We have also invested heavily in other technology, making our working day much more efficient. We dare to make full use of these tools – a unique step in the law industry.

A team with high expertise and integrity

LIGL's team consists of highly qualified corporate lawyers and other colleagues. They all have many years' experience from the industry, solid professional expertise and – not least – a passion for their jobs. Several of our lawyers come from leading partner positions in the largest law firms in Norway.

Try our legal robot

LIGL has always believed that lawyers should reduce the time they spend on legal tasks. One of our earliest priorities was therefore to develop our own legal robot, Ida®, in order to revolutionise the way legal tasks are performed. When we use Ida® we reduce the time spent. Ida® also makes it easier to negotiate actual fixed-price agreements for a number of assignments.

Ida® is now an integrated part of our assistance in employment law, intellectual property law, corporate law, M&A, bankruptcy and dispute resolution. And this is only the beginning.

A downscaled version of Ida® is available on our homepage, free of charge. Ida® will give you access to more than 100 legal templates, all provided by artificial intelligence. Here you can also easily ask for assistance from our lawyers if you need quality assurance or other legal assistance.
